Operations & Finance
Spot stock and order exceptions before they are overlooked.
Monitor inventory, purchasing, and order information to identify shortages or operational problems before they interrupt the business.
New managed agreements: monthly management is the greater of $400 or the combined applicable workflow management charges, once per client's managed agreement, not per workflow. Existing-client additions require a reviewed quote when agreement context is unavailable. Existing signed agreements are unchanged. Software and usage charges are separate.
From a repeating task to a useful output.
Fictional example, not a sent message. Connections, actions and exception handling are confirmed before implementation.
Is this the task you need to change?
Stockouts and order problems surface only after they hurt.
Illustrative input · Online retailer: A connected store reports that stock has crossed an agreed alert threshold.
What you get
One store or inventory platform, three alert rules and one notification destination.
Setup and testing, a staff walkthrough, and two consolidated revision rounds within the agreed implementation scope.
What to know
No purchasing decisions, demand forecast model or ERP replacement.
We check access and compatibility before connecting customer-owned accounts.
From input to output
A clear path, with people at the right points.
- 01Store data updates — Read the supported inventory platform
- 02Check the data — Validate item IDs and freshness
- 03Apply alert thresholds — Use up to three agreed exception rules
- 04Avoid duplicate alerts — Check recent events for the same item
- 05Notify operations — Link the alert to the source record
- 06Staff chooses action — Purchasing decisions stay with staff (Human review)
Missing information, uncertain output or a failed connection should be routed for human review. The proposal defines the trigger, review steps and specific failure response before the workflow is used.

Supported providers, account permissions, volumes and usage charges are confirmed during scoping. Listing a category is not a guarantee that every provider is supported.

What does monthly management cover?
60 minutes/month of included human service for this workflow. Automated workflow monitoring and error alerts where supported; human triage during business hours. Monthly health review, usage review, and a short operating summary. Authentication checks, investigation, maintenance, and small configuration changes within the included human-service time. Support acknowledgment target: within two business days, Mon–Fri 9am–5pm Pacific, excluding published holidays. Not a resolution or uptime guarantee. Extra engineering is scoped and approved in writing before work — no surprise hourly overages, no 24/7 response promise.
When does management start?
Management starts on accepted go-live, not at inquiry or kickoff. Month-to-month for new managed agreements; cancel before the next renewal, effective at the end of the paid period. On exit, customer-owned accounts are preserved with a documentation and access handoff.
What costs are separate?
Third-party costs such as OpenAI, Claude, Zapier, Make, n8n hosting, Twilio, CRM subscriptions, email systems, hosting, APIs, and databases are separate unless specifically included in an SMI package.
How long does implementation take?
Your proposal confirms the schedule after checking access, supported integrations, scope and testing requirements. Third-party approvals and changes may affect the schedule.
Who owns the accounts?
You retain your accounts and data. Documentation and an access handoff are included under the current management policy. The written proposal confirms applicable configuration and deliverable terms.
