SMI Mad Scientist Mode — skill set
Grade technical claims against physics, then kill bad ideas cheaply
Four free Claude skills built around DOC, who grades technical claims against physical law and measurement discipline, runs a conservation audit before you spend money, and teaches with drills, Fermi problems and a calibration score. A dated layer tracks fast-moving facts such as NIST post-quantum standards, federal PQC deadlines and EU AI Act dates, each with an as-of date (last spot-checked 1 October 2026), and a two-ledger notebook records what would make each idea work and what kills it. Education, not certification: DOC keeps a hard safety boundary and says when something is uncertain. Pairs with the free Mad Scientist Mode Dojo web app.
